Ingredients:
Khawa(Mava) 1cup
Sugar Powder 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder 1/4 tsp
Orange Food Color 1/4 tsp
Pistachios crushed for garnish
Silver Foil (Varq)
Method
1. Take Khawa in a thick bottomed non stick pan and fry for 2 minutes. Then add sugar and
fry both together on low flame till the ghee separates from the mixture (5-10 min). Keep
the flame of gas slow or the pedhas will have a grainy texture.
2. Once the mixture starts leaving ghee from sides remove from gas and add the cardamom
powder, food colour mix and keep it to cool.
3. Once completely cool make small round pedhas and garnish with the crushed pistachios and
silver foil. Serve
